2, Making IX-XI. century’s Hungarian quiver

Handicrafts program are, 9-11 century steppe knife making, Magyar quiver making and leather works. Other craft works are possible too.

Working days and hours, from 8-12PM to 14-19 AM Tuesday to Thursday. (Friday to Sunday are raceing days)

Tuesday

8.00-

work planing and material selection

10.00-

Bladesmith performance for beginners.

14.00-19.00

Bladesmithing. Quiver dimension planing, wood working , mesure out quiver’s iron parts.

Wednesday

8.00-

Leather work practicing all day.
Plane-carve and joint the quiver’s wood parts than glue tham together. Knife sheath from leather or carve from wood (performance).

14.00-19.00

Quiver iron parts forgeing, Knifeblade grinding, prejoint the gripp and blade hardening (after sunrise).

Thursday

8.00-

Rasp-plane and sand the quiver’s wood parts. Install and rivet the iron parts, or glue the lather cover. Knifeblade tempering and smooth grinding than gripp joint.

14.00-19.00

Knife sheath carve and leather binding. Quiver back plate fixing or iron parts riveting.
Some more finishing work schould be possible at the other days too.
